refrigerator

I just plugged in my camper and noticed that my refrigerator won't switch over to AC mode. On gas mode only. I turned it on and off several times and the check light isn't coming on. Any ideas?

Be sure your Auto and On buttons are on...and check your fuses.

Check for voltage at the heater outlet

On mine, the plug for the heater that goes into the 120v outlet doesn't make a good connection. It's on my list to replace. Find the plug and spread/squeeze the prongs for a better connection, then see if it switches over. If it does, then you too need to replace the outlet.

If that's not it, then the 120v heater is probably bad. Use an ohmmeter to check for continuity. If it reads open then the heater is bad, replace it.

Check the refrigerator outside compartment. Make sure the refrigerator is plugged into the outlet. Also check the outlet to make sure that it has power.

I'm not sure if you are referring to the breaker switches or not, but I flipped one of the breakers and that worked. When you mentioned heater, it reminded me of where my Breakers are in my camper. Thanks so much.
