Quick question fridge

We are boondocking at a festival, it is 90'. The counter above fridge warm. Is the red switch just inside door to left the fan for fridge? Does it work like regular switch, , in that by pressing down the fan should be on? Shouls the red switch light up? Our not lit, when oressed down fan not on.

Funny thing we are going on factory tor Monday, but have to work thiss whole hot weekend and do not want to lose my contents. Any suggestions welcomed. I was thinking of adding big bag of ice to bottom shelf to help keep temp down. It is at 48

Did nobody ever answer your post until now?

The trick to remember about RV fridges is cool fins.
That's where the heat in the fridge is transferred to the outside.

When it's hot set up shade for the fins and that side of the coach.

The big bag of ice should be a block up high. One in the freezer and another in the fridge. ( Burning Man about 2010)

It takes awhile to get it right, this is my third AS. It all really started in the back yard. Two couples were sleeping in the car after a Minot, ND thunderstorm- a 65 Saab in about October 1970. There was quite a parade of camping equipment over the years. It would make a kool photo book for the family.

Isn't Sbb the name of the Swiss Railway, in addition to your mysterious name?

It would be the way of an Irish lass to get her avatar upside down, probably on purpose. And striking off into the unknown in a 19 ft Int'l. Would that be a different beast than an 06 Bambi? Our 19 Bambi was simply too small for 2, but they seem to work OK or better for one person.

And at which festival were you? We are big on Strawberry Bluegrass & Music , and totally spoiled by Outside Lands, Hardly Strickley.

Night night. jsutro
