We just purchased a 1960 18' AS and it has the original Dometic propane fridge. We are told it freezes ice so it works just fine. We are headed out west to pick it up as we haven't seen it yet (relative took care of that for us and pronounced it sweet) and wondered if anyone knows if the 1960 model, which runs on*propane, also run on 110 or 220? We are so excited to pick it up and take side trips on the way back home to NE Florida. If anyone know the specifics of the 1960 Dometic, please let me know. It's a mauve color. Or pink if you like! The other appliance is The Princess stove which is a copper color and has chipped enamel and looks worn out. I certainly don't need an oven so we are probably going to put in a two burner propane stove top and a microwave. More practical for our use. What do you think?
I'd post pictures of the interior as it is now, as soon as I figure out how to do so. To insert image it ask for the URL of the image. Have no idea what the URL would be of my iPhoto images or my desktop images.
