Please help...

Hi again - Not sure what my fridge model is in the 22' ccd but it is the original.

I have it set at 4-5 on electric and the fins are frosting up badly.

What could the problem be and how might I fix it?

Everything will be alright in the end. If it is not alright now, then it is not the end.

The first thing I would check is the door gasket. There has to be a continuing source of moisture to feed the frost.

Yes some frost will form but if the Frig ever reaches the set temperature that frost will melt before the next cycle is started. Assuming you are not attempting to use the frig as a freezer
