My Klixon Valve Leaks! What do I Do????

I have a gas leak on the assembly my klixon valve as shown in the picture. Does anyone know how I remove the burner barrel or fix the leak? I Tried unscrewing it and it just spins. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

lift it off

after you have unscrewed it you must lift it up and off.
i have removed mine several times.. my porcelain burner is cracked..
maybe your burner is dirty or clogged and that is causing it to leak at the bottom..

I tried pulling it up. It just doesnt seem to want to come up and the ring that turns doesnt want to tighten back down either. am i doing something wrong? I'm scared that i might damage the porcelain or damage the tang on the klixon valve.
