Question MB52 magnetic door gasket?

Hi all,

I have a Dometic MB52 in my '68 Overlander. It works well on electirc (which is all I plan to run it on), but the magnetic door gasket is shot. I'm having a hard time finding a replacement. Not sure if I could get away with something from a hardware store or if it needs to be a particular profile. Any thoughts or advice out there would be appreciated! Thanks!

I ran into the same problem with my old fridge. I hunted high and low and was unable to find a "factory fit" replacement seal. I ended up buying a "universal fit" generic seal that was designed to be cut to fit and spliced together. It does the job, but it is not as wide as the original, so I am doubtful that it does the job as effectively.

Good luck!

You might try PPL MotorHomes…they have a lot of parts listed in the online catalogue but Kind of hard to navigate to exactly what you are looking for.

I am looking for MB52 parts specifically the inside door panel. Do you still have the fridge? Thanks!
