May have found out why Refrigerator is overheating!!

I have a 2014 classic and never could get the frig to cool properly in summer. Read all the info I could find on overheating refrigerators and added a fan onto the back of my frig, didn't work. After pulling out the frig and looking at the design it is apparent that the heat has a poor path to the roof vent, plus BIG dead space at the front of the frig. Pulled everything out made a baffle to block the air from going to the front of the frig and added another fan to draw the air out the top of the vent. Finally have some air flow, flowing out the top. Have a trip to Myrtle Beach next week to try out my fix, hopefully thats it, will update when I get back. Thanks to everyone for there suggestions and there own fixes to this problem.

Sorry didn't take any pics, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I think airstream either forgot or there is no baffle in the classic but it surly needs one to vent properly

I have read that the back of the fridge should be no more than 1 inch away from the back wall and if that isn't the case, a baffle should be installed to provide a proper cooling air flow path. My refrigerator sits about 8 inches away from the outer wall and there is a 2 1/2 inch dead air space above the fridge - no baffle. I'm going to try a little sheet metal work and see what improvements I can make.
I think a lot of the blame for poor cooling is placed on the vent fans instead of non-existent baffling.
Here's a picture from the Dometic manual for my model 2551 with the upper and lower vents on the side of the camper and proper baffling.

I finished my baffle box project using 3 pieces of aluminum sheet. Air from the lower vent now has to flow within ½” of the back of the refrigerator and up to the condenser before going out the upper vent. I should have made the baffle a few inches taller, but I can always add an extension if needed. Changed the stock fan too. I posted more info here: http://www.airforums.com/forums/blog...-upgrade-2632/
