Are you referring to a Peltier Cooler? Google that.

Well, most RV style refrigerators should be pretty noiseless. The typical cooling mechanisim is heating ammonia, which is done either with 120V electrical heater or a propane flame. There are also those that run like a conventional home frig with a compressor--these would not be noiseless.

When you say "full size" how big is that? If you mean to say you are looking for a 25 cubic ft "home style" refrigerator that works like an RV style frig as described above, then you are probably out of luck.

good luck!

Seconding what Belegedhel said, a 2-way RV fridge is only going to make a tiny bit of noise when igniting the gas burner, and some installations require a fan to move air across the heat exchanger in hot weather.

If you are remodeling a trailer and need some huge amount of cold storage, I've seen setups with 2 gas-electric refrigerators, but the suckers are expensive so that's a tough sell.

While it would not be silent, if you wanted a bench with a top-loading fridge built into it you could build a cold box and buy a Danfoss compressor with an evaporator and condenser as a kit. Well-insulated setups like that are very efficient since they don't lose as much of the cold air inside when you open the door, but I think you'd end up with a full-custom job and again it wouldn't be silent when the compressor is running, though they're pretty quiet.

The 12v/120v Nova Kool 3.1cf fridge in an Airstream Interstate is virtually silent, and it's built into the galley cabinets. And since they don't operate on an ammonia cycle they don't have a burner and don't need to be vented to the outside.

For those who want more space, they make THREE different capacity low profile side-by-side models that could all fit into a cabinet:
Nova Kool, refrigerators, freezers, Marine, RV, Truck
