I hate to bug you but the consistency of water for the methylene chloride is troubling me. I have this piece from the kitchen window shade holder. This is my practice piece before I work on the endcap in the bathroom. This tiny little little crack pushed out becomes significant. With it together like this would you needle on the MC from this side (back) or the other side(face). I am thinking the face so it can be sand.

TIA
String

If you have access to both sides, using a syringe run a very thin bead along each side it will wick in to the crack. Hold the crack firmly together just with your hands into the position you want it to set. About 60 seconds. Wait about half a day for it to thoroughly evaporate out and your plastic will be good enough to sand and paint. If you want extra protection after I have had good success backing up thin areas using fiberglass cloth and plain old yellow ABS glue from the plumbing section. I Kryloned that to :-)

My new years resolution is to start renting them so I look slightly less like a hoarder :-) I actually have two more a 32' ambassador and a canned ham 1963 Fleetcraft. And apparently I have big aluminium collecting issues ;-)

MC Works

TSL

Check this piece out. The inside tab was broken at the base. It's hanging horizontal no sag after 40 seconds, just like new. I repaired it right where it is at too, did not remove and lay flat.

Lookin' good String, glad the methylene chloride worked. Mask it off in place and give it a coat of Krylon fusion for plastics and it will look like new.
For your yellowed walls give Mr. Clean magic erasers and a bleachy bathroom spray like Tilex mold and mildew remover a try, it will probably get a lot of yellowing of that shroud. If it doesn't try a citrus based adhesive remover, I suspect it may be sticky nicotine residue.
