How to keep the Refrigerator sweet smelling when not in use

Keep the Refrigerator sweet smelling when not in use.
I put about a cup of fresh UN perked coffee grounds in a sock and tie the top closed. I make a couple of them one for the freezer and one for the refrigerator. Then I put it inside the refrigerator and close the door. When you open the refrigerator doors there is no mold just a fresh smell of coffee.

We use the two dividers that are in the fridge and freezer door containers / racks. Just remove them, hang them on the door latches and close the doors. That keeps the doors secure but slightly open allowing air circulation preventing mold growth or that musty smell from developing.

On turning off, after all frost has melted, wipe down, and prop door open. If it can't be stored open, I put in an open box of baking soda.

We just prop it open with anything handy, like a small cardboard box, for example. Seems to work fine.

yep, yep, clean it out, dry it out, and leave it propped open with something. Easy, fast, and works.

My fridge has built in hold open latches in the handles. They have always worked for me.
Also no stale coffee to throw out or socks to wash. %)

It could be totally mythology, but someone told us to put wadded up newspaper in a plastic grocery bag on a shelf and then prop the doors open. We've done that and fridge is nice. Could be merely propping the doors open has done the job, however?

Prop doors open, BS in a pie tin, top & bottom.

It helps it you don't eat stinky food.
