How about stealing cold from the freezer?

I have been thinking about how nearly everyone is unable to keep the fridge at the right temp. So,

Is it possible to steal from the freezer? Mine is WAY more than cold enough. I imagine actually drilling holes just for air passage is probably an inefficient way to transfer the cold, but what about taking a couple thick conductive wires / rods that could connect to the freezer shelf on the top and each side of the fins in the fridge?

We freeze 2 liter bottles of water and exchange them between the freezer and the fridge when the temp gets too warm that it can not keep up. Simple but works.

Not sure what the problem is. My fridge and freezer both run at temps I consider ideal.
