Hot vent on '62 Trade Wind

The original gas fridge in our 62 Trade Wind works fine, but it seems the last time out the vent area was hotter than normal. The coils basically vent to the inside (not so good when it's already hot outside) and the gas vents up through the wall and up to the exterior opening. It seems the interior wall and exterior wall, on both sides of the vent shaft, are hotter than they have been in the past. You can keep a hand on the outside, but you might want to leave it there very long.
Should I be concerned???

I suspect that last time out the outside temperatures were warmer than in times past. The hotter it is outside, the harder the refrigerator has to work. Yes these things put off a lot of heat when they are working at full blast. You PROBABLY have nothing to worry about, but I would monitor it.
