History of frig applications/usage

Can anyone post info as to what frigs where used and when? Specifically, manufacturer, and when did AS go to the gas/elect combo?

Take a look at Vintage Airstream Home There is a wealth of information on Airstream history in the FAQ section.

It might be easier to ask for a specific year. Or...Airstream.com added a vintage section a few months back with a bunch of sales literature, price sheets, floor layouts and so on. May find something there.
