Great Price on New Dometic Fridge RM2510

Incase anyone is searching for a new Dometic at a good price.
I found a brand new Dometic 2 way at adventurerv.net in North Carolina for $709.00 plus $85. bucks to truck it here. Got here in two days.

Most places wanted well over $1000. bucks for the same fridge/freezer and $200. for trucking. This one is roughly 40" tall, 21" wide and 24" deep. already installed. Works great!

I have that fridge in my rig. Be careful with the freezer door. The hinge is weak and once it spring pops it is hard to fix. Love it none the less...

Thanks for the tip. I will be careful with the freezer door.

I also should have mentioned my back up source was Palomino Parts in Michigan. 800-297-5830.
Price was really good too. $700.00 for Dometic RM2510. But it was $200.00 bucks for freight. If you are closer to that location it would be less but I am in GA so it was cheaper to ship from Adventurerv.net in NC. Either place, great price in comparison to others.

Those freezer hinges are very weak. I've had to repair several of them, and have given the people that own them the "Be Careful!" admonishment to them. So far, none of them have come back, but it is a weakness in an otherwise great little fridge.

Terry, I have reset mine twice. First trip out this year it went. I am using a wedge of aluminum foil now out of frustration. The size of the fridge is perfect for my family size.

Dometic Refrig freezer hinges

I also have this refrig in my 2004 Bambi..When the hinge broke the local dealer first quoted around $40 dollars for that little plastic part. Then he rechecked and was suprised that it rang up for "only" around $18.00 He acted as if he were doing me a favor selling it for $18.00..My point is why are people still having problems with this little part..Does the factory not care or is it too hard to reengineer, or maybe it's a money maker. By the way, I am again having problems with this plastic hinge.
