Frig Shelving improvements.

Hi all,

I have been working on my trailer and wanted tp dp something about the frig shelving racks - you know how they tend to go rusty and then blister and the chrome fall off. Well mine had done that and a PO had sprayed them with siler paint ( something I had done years ago, with little success in a slide in camper).

Well, I decided to get them powder coated a white colour. They are first sand blasted which gets rid of all the rust and other detrious, dipped in acid and then coated (I think that is the right order for the process). Well, today I installed them on the frig and can hardly believe the difference. They are just like new and have (I was assured) an extremely durable finish. They cost $60 Canadian, to get done (for four racks/shelves) - all inclusive. I am happy with the results and the price. Just thought I would share this with others, as it is a cheap and effective way of brightening up the frig.
