Question fridge on when travelling?

Now here's a real dumb question. If I'm going down the road in the middle of summer where the temp inside of my trailer may get just short of being able to roast garlic, should I (or better yet, can I) be able to keep my fridge fired up on propane? The reason I ask is because it seems so important to keep the fridge level. It can't possibly be level if I'm going up the hill, down the hill, around the corner and so on. Am I not killing the fridge by keeping it on?

No sweat

There is no problem running the refrigerator while underway because the motion of the trailer insures that the coolant keeps moving through the system. Levelling is only important when parked.

Just make sure you turn it off when fueling.

Turn it off when fueling

Excellent advice. Seems like common sense, but something someone like me wouldn't think of. I still remember my uncle smoking Squillo cigars while pumping gas at his gas station. That was back when they would pump gas, clean windshield, check oil and water. But not my Uncle Cassy. He'd just pump the gas if you were lucky and if he wasn't out there by the pump, you were expected to bring the money inside. I wonder why he went out of business?

Look up lazy, see his picture????
