gasket

You have a couple of choices. I have an older refrig. and I use Clorox Cleanup with water. If you prefer you can go green with vinegar and water. Both should get rid of mold. If you find a stubborn spot use a little Comet, but don't mix that with bleach!!

I second the Clorox Cleanup with Bleach. I spray it on, let it sit for a few, then use a gentle brush.
We also leave or fridge doors open a little when the trailer is not in use to prevent mold growth.

Mr Clean magic eraser... It did wonders on mine when other cleaners didn't touch it. Mine had about 30 more years of dirt on it.

toothbrush

I use a soft toothbrush or vegetable brush. And I second the leaving the doors open when not in use. It lets it breath and it doesn't get smelly!

I use Clorox cleanup on the gasket, wash out the interior with baking soda and leave an open dish of ground coffee inside....does wonders for any smell that might get in there. But I have also found a new use for the "door thingy"--you know, that thing that keeps your trailer door closed while you are traveling-- it hangs from the top of the door and keeps it open while we're not using it. Whatever you do, don't forget to empty the tray under the freezer when you turn it off, and it defrosts...or you will have a mold (and rust) problem you won't believe. Don't ask me how I know.
