Fire(s) after the Dometic "fix"??

Have any of you heard of/experienced a refrigerator fire after having the recall "fix" to your trailer?

Just wondering......I had the local Dometic Certified dealer do the fix. He only warned me that the box/fix had covered up my reset switch....so IF I needed to reset, I had to remove the metal box.

I searched, people there was no thread about fires after the fix

My refrigerator (1975) was not covered by the recall.

If you take a look at the "fix", it does nothing to prevent fires. It does shut the refrigerator down if a fire starts. This should prevent the fire from spreading to the rest of the trailer. The cause of the fire was not addressed in the "fix".
