Electric/freon type RV Refrigerator

A while back I saw an RV refrigerator on a web page that was an electric only freon type unit. It relly looked nice and was designed to replace standard amonia style refrigerators. I don't remeber the brand name and I can't find the link. I was wondering if anyone might have some information on this.

Thanks

Don Hardman

I found it. It's the Tundra by Dometic which mainly used in marine applications.

freon units

I had one in a cabin cruiser and it didn't take the constant bouncing. I suspect the same issues would eventually surface in a well traveled trailer. The old GMC motorhomes had them and they seemed to be more robust. The draw back is they lean on the batteries fairly bad so we used a seperate battery just for the fridge and charged through a diode isolater.
