Dometic RM2551 Refrigerator

I have determined that the cooling unit (coils) are not working. My fridge will not cool on electric or propane. The fuses are good. The heating element is heating properly. I am open to any viable suggestions that may save me from having to pay $1,300 for a new unit. I would be interested what others have done in this situation. Thank you!

One of my friends with an SOB 5th had them exchange the cooling unit at their place - the refer could not be removed without taking out the slide, so they slipped it out and did the work in his RV. Their price was competitive at the time.

I've decided to purchase a replacement for the Dometic RM2551. Does anyone have a suggestion other than Camping World. I just called them and their price was over $1,400.

Most here will recommend staying away from Camping World for any maintenance work.
I would assume that is the installed price?

Most online sources are around $750 - $800 but then figure labor to remove and replace.

My dometic died this year. I used this product. I looked up a dealer near me and had it done for $850 including labor.
