Dometic RM2510.2 not working on AC

Ah, once again I turn to the collective wisdom of airforums...

My Dometic RM2510.2 is about 4 months old and had worked fine on both propane and 120 volt AC power but the other day after being on AC about 4 days it suddenly quit working. I was able to light the LP and it started cooling but not on AC. I checked the outlet, had a solid 122 volts and all the other AC circuits are fine (TV, microwave, A/C, water heater, charger, etc.). I disconnected the AC heating element leads from the block and measured 74.5 ohms (I think the manual says within 10% of 75 ohms). I then switched the knob to electric, cranked the thermostat to max, and checked for voltage at the block--nothing!

This more or less leaves the problem as being the thermostat or the switch.

Do any of you have any experience with this and what was the problem and/or solution. I'm presently on a trip and not too excited about pulling the fridge but maybe I'll need to do it :-(. In the mean time I'm burning LP to keep things cool.

Anyone have any experiences or recommendations they care to share?

Thanks,

Aron
