Dometic Refrig

I have a Airstream Cutter with a Dometic 2-way refrig.
The frig works well on shore power, but does not maintain cold on gas.
In troubleshooting the problem; checked the flu, presence of flame etc. it appeared that the flame was too low.
I pulled the regulator at the propane tank and found it full of a purple liquid. Thinking that this was causing a low pressure to the refrig. I changed out the regulator.
The frig worked well for a couple of weeks - now the problem has resurfaced.
Should I attempt to replace or clean the gas valve on the back of the frig.
Has anyone dealt with this problem before?

I would concentrate on the burner assembly. Between the assembly & the gas-side thermostat, there are two, different orifi (jets). One orifice meters gas for Pilot mode, and the other meters gas for Cool mode.
