Dometic refer upgrade

Hi, new to this forum and would appreciate some informed opinions.
My '73 25' Tradewind has the small dorm sized reefer. I know somebody who is converting his '71 Soverign into a studio and does not need his larger refrigerator/freezer. Says it works. My wife would like the larger unit. Is this a smart switch? It looks like the footprint of the units are about the same. Will the larger reefer fit in the Tradewind? Thanks for your thoughts.

I did the same conversion on my 69 Tradewind. We love the larger fridge. The one differance in the 69 compared to the 73 is that the 69 has birch paneling . we just had to stain it to match. look at my images . There should be picks there.
