When I read "Herb's" column in this months Blue Beret - Pg 17 - I was led to believe that this was a second recall. The fact that this was an extension of, or addition to, the original recall was not mentioned. It wasn't until I checked the Model and Serial Nos. of my unit, and went to the Dometic website, that I was able to determine that the earlier recall, and the later-amended recall, is one and the same. It's been a year or so since I had my unit fixed and, although I watched the procedure, I don't remember exactly what was done - aside from the installation of additional sheet metal shielding.
