Dometic Blues

Hello. Good day to all!
Have a Dometic fridge RM2510 that will not work on propane or 110v When on propane the unit heats up and gets hot like it is working. but will not cool. also plugged it in and still it didn't cool, at all. I have inspected the unit and see no tell tail yellow signs that the unit is leaking. Is it basically that if the propane is heating it should be cooling or is there a control unit that that could be broken keeping it from cooling?? How do I go about checking the control unit if there is one?? Thanks in advance for any help you could offer. Don

If you can reach the fins at the back top of the frig and feel it they are hot. If so the unit still has a charge. How old is the frig?

It's 21 years old the fins are at room temperature.

If the fins are cool that says the heaters are not working or the charge is gone. After it has been on for several hours check the outside of the chimney. Is it warm to the touch. If so the heater is working.
