A couple things that will help the cooling in the fridge is not to pack the freezer too tight. You need a bit of flow around those items to help out the fridge. Another idea to get an accurate reading is to place a glass of water inside the center of the fridge and leave it for an hour. Then measure the temp of the water. That will be more accurate than an ambient reading. These are just tips from my RVIA testing.

Last summer here we had 92 100+ days and my Dometic performed well during. I do have a fan on the backside to move the hot air out of the condenser and my fridge performance was marginal to poor before that mod.

We have had no problems with our freezer keeping food frozen ... we do have a Snyder Fan Kit with a single fan at the bottom of the flute in play. Of course, it's a rather small frig in a 19' ... We have been pleased with the frig's performance in general ...

I didn't read ALL the posts, but more than anything else, the opening and restocking, looking for what you want....etc. is what causes the most trouble. I have this system. Warm items (of the barley variety get a pre-cool in in on of those Coleman type electric coolers. and only those "pops" (and real soda) go in the fridge.

Then when you get one of the really cold ones out of the fridge, you must (and this is really important...) sit in the dinette or sofa and guard against the fridge content "shoppers"! Then, and only then, will you have solid ice cream!

Thats sure true. I was reading that for one full minute that the fridge door is fully open on a warm day it takes one full hour to restore the inside temp to that of what it was before you grabbed that handle. Hard to believe but since it doesnt have a compressor like the one at home it kinda makes sense.
