Exclamation Anybody check their fridge vent lately

I've been camping since 1970 and never came across the bug problems everyone noted at one time or another until I looked at the rooftop fridge vent on the recently acquired Argosy.

There to my surprise were three hand sized wasps nests nestled comfortably in the cap. They must have been nice and comfy up there.

Better to get them out now than in the summer.

Wow, nice find, inactive due to temp.
With that many in the fridge vent, I would do a check of all the other vents.

Be sure to get some screen put over that vent to keep out any possible future tenants

And while you are up there, check the stove vent. That's where I found the wasp nests. Old. like yours, fortunately.

I don't think I'm ever dropping the belly pan, I've seen and heard to many horror stories. The unknown is comforting, it's probably pristine anyway. LOL

Wasn't anything in our belly pan except a lot of dusty insulation. It isn't always bad.
