Airstream '77 Land Yacht Need part for RM-100 refrigerator

Hello to all.
Haven't posted in awhile. I have a RM-100 Dometic refrigerator in my 1977 AS and it is hard to tell when it is lit when using on gas unless you go outside and open the peep hole and use a mirror to see when it is lit. Does anyone have an old one, they have removed and the 23-200-22-03/8 Light conductor is still OK. Do you have one and if so are you interested in selling it ? If not do you know where they can be purchased?
Thanks for any help

As I guess you can tell from the lack of response to your question, parts like that make hen's teeth look plentiful.

Have you tried any RV wreckers? Colaws comes to mind as a big one. Back when that was a current model, it probably wasn't just Airstream that used it, so don't be afraid to ask SOB sellers and wreckers.

We Have Your Part…*|*Colaw RV Parts and Salvage

Perhaps take a photo of your refer so they can tell it from others? Maybe a photo of the part you want?

Good luck!

Those were never very bright to begin with... just a heads up.
But, I might have one in my stack of stuff in the basement. I am traveling right now, so I can't look, but send me a PM and I will try to remember to look when I get back home

No guarantee I really have one, of course. Free for the shipping if I do.

Lightbulb Maybe Selling my RM 100

I may be replacing my RM100 fridge. It still works (slightly) . It tries to get cool but not much. I promised the wife to buy a new one. When I do, do you want parts or the entire unit? I live in WA. shipping might be pricey.

This may sound crazy but... What about a cheap dedicated video camera? They are tiny and could be put right in the burner area looking at the flame. Also a thermal switch with a temp probe (about $5 on eBay) could be used to tukrn on an indicator diode. Wouldn't be much harder than trying to replace the current system.
