ahhh - if it only ran on propane

looks like it would fit though

The inventor of the HomePub, a fridge freezer with built-in draught beer system, is, it goes without saying, a genius. Designed with special people in mind, the kind who like to pour beer on their cornflakes or drink their coffee with beer and two sugars, there's designated space for two five-liter kegs.

Uhh... Wayward? If only what in that picture ran on propane? Each of us sees what we want to see. What might a Rivette see in that picture?

I think this is a little upscale for Homer Simpson. Thanks!

Just buy your own propane fridge and convert it - probably much cheaper.

Hadn't quite looked at that way Bob but perhaps the chances of selling this gadget to my wife might have just gone up.

Skeptical...

I'm thinking that with a fridge that clean , there's probably a couple cats in the house and Barbara Streisand on the Bose stereo system! )

Well, I have to admit, at first I didn't even notice the fridge. And I totally missed the bread in the oven.

sheesh,

unimpressed here in wisconsin!

a pony keg in a fridge? when you click on the link it is called the "man fridge" yeah right!

here in the land of beer we don't call it a keg-er-ator unless it can hold a real half barrel! and we make them ourselves!

that's right, 37 and 1/2 gallons of fun!

A REAL 'Man Fridge' is...

well, whatever you say it is...

Quick story to relate regards a "Man fridge" with Genesee beer, a recliner, and well, read the below story.

Friend in college, Curtis, invites me and 2 friends to his folks for Thanksgiving. This invloved a ROAD TRIP (IL to NY state), and free good food. Oh, and beer! LOTS OF BEER!!! In the car on the way there, at the rest stops, etc.... this was the free-wheeling early 80's! Perhaps there was ABBA on the stereo - don't recall.

Got to his folks place (300+ acres), this place was MAN PARADISE!!!!!!!

5 car garage - 55's, 56 & 57 Chevy's plus a zillion parts.... about 10 feet from the house. Pool table next to the first ever big screen TV (as in TV!) that I have ever seen. HUGE deck with BBQ and a fishing pond (20acre) right behind the house with a Whaler at the dock. Had an old army Jeep for 4x4in parked out back - key in it - take it and GO! Had a shooting range on the opposite shore with an "Armory" make it all worthwhile....!!!! Probably had a deer stand or 2 there as well.

This place was WAY COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best part was that there was a full size fridge in the 1st garage (next to the house). He had a 1/2 Keg of Genesee Beer on serious refridgeration. Naturally there was a tap in the garage to keep everyone in a proper frame of mind whilst wrenchin, yakin, or whatever.

The real eye-opener was the tap INSIDE, right next to the BarcaLounger that was also hooked to said Genesee keg.

All he needed was a 'astronaut' style potty and other than food there would have been no reason to leave that chair! Curtis's dad was my hero for a few days!!!

As I recall, Curtis paid for the gas AND beer on the ride, to and FROM. I recall being pretty well lubricated for the feast (and the rest of the time) but I DO remember clearly that the turkey and taters were terrific.

Ah, Those WERE the days, my friend!!!! Gotta find Curtis's number again!

Perhaps someone else has a fond story to tell along these lines (not tryin to hijack) that other might enjoy. Just sayin

I think it could be pretty easy to obtain a "bun in the oven" with that kitchen accessory
....I'm with thecatsandI But thought TinSista had popped into that Kitchen before the sweater and shirt deal arrived.....to get a good jump on the situation

Love that fridge concept though - Might just mention this to my own Kitchen accessory to install something of pleasure in the LB

Bob that is funny, makes me think of when I was in the Navy. A fellow sailor would lie on the bar and open the tap.

Double Barrel

Years ago one of my freinds lived with a veritable altor of berr fridges. A double half barrel version! Never saw light stuff in it either, it was always two quality halfers.

Up here a double barrel can be a double meaning.
