AC only replacement FRIG???

We are newbies. 76 SOV. Had no Frig. Propane pipe is there but due to the money in everything else, can we just use an AC 110 Frig until we get the money for a Gas-AC Fridge?

Thanks all.

The dummies.

Howdy and welcome to Airforums!

I don't think you are a dummy for asking. Quite the contrast, in fact; if you didn't ask, how could you know?

And of course you can have a regular home refrigerator. However if you travel a lot, be aware that they weren't made to be jostled and jiggled around, so it may have a short but happy life

Also, the fridge that an Airstream comes with doesn't have a compressor lije your kitchen home one does. That means that if you sleep really close to it, you may be annoyed by the sound of it coming on and running...

Happy Trails!
