Here's a chart. If you know the original model you can look up the modern replacement.

There is also a place in Irwindale, CA called Cool-Fun Inc., (T-626-960-5456) that repairs old fridges. We shipped ours there to be repaired and it is still going strong.

My old fridge thread

Pa?

Rebuild.. Yeah, maybe!

Hey, looks like you are in PA. I was born and raised in Harrisburg. Mom and Dad still there. I'm out here in LA LA Land now.

Sell?

Nope! still selling. But, it would be nice to furnish the next owner with all available info for appliances, etc.

Do yourself a favor...save the old fridge! The new owner may want to re-build it if you don't - many people covet having the original appliances and will pay about the same or close to it to have them restored rather than replaced - we did/do. Irwindale is much closer to LA LA Land than PA! Although it's great to have resource on both sides of the country ~ how 'bout one for us here in the middle?

Our fridge in our Bambi II wasn't working when we first acquired the trailer. But thanks to the help of RV_cool, it is now up and working like it just came from the factory.

If you haven't already, I would encourage you to check out his website.

Ahhh...so you are related huh? I know of the resource...I will look into having them do it this time, if needed. Didn't know about them last time ~ and shipped ours to CA to be fixed. Nice to know there may be some one local ~

I plan on keeping the original. In fact, I am selling the trailer as is and want to give the new owners, (whomever they may be) all the info I can about restoration, etc.

Keep it!
If not, I need a burner part for the M16.
Richard

Good luck.
