60s Bambi refrigerator found

Hello there everyone ,

I have found at my local RV mom and pop store a vintage copper colored
refrigerator ,looks to be the one found in the Bambi 61 62 etc. matches the type shown in the photo archives found in those trailers . It works great
has the ice cube tray ,nice condition .The guy wants 400 bucks for it
and while it is spendy ,its available for a short while now .I ask him to not
sell it until I posted here . if any interest let me know .The fridge is the little one ,chrome handle and so on . Give me a PM should someone want it .
sooner than later if possible ,Ill be able to get photos ,if someone really wants this fridge .i tried to get the guy to come down on price ,but since its vintage
airstream Bambi stuff , well you know how that goes these days .

Ok then

Hi Scott of Scottanlily,
Thanks for taking the time to post this for us old Bambi owners. I have one that also seems to work on electric - haven't checked out the propane side of it yet. Do you know if the one you saw also works with the propane? Thanks,
George

Hello dudebb ,

Ill know tomorrow on that ,as Im suppose to actually go purchase it from
the RV guy tomorrow .I did not want it to get away ,cause this guy is closing his doors ,its the type of thing that it will go in the trash ,as he has thrown many vintage things in the trash ,you know if he cannot sell it ,he'd throw it away instead .I don't need it ,but Im gonna save it ,but it needs to go
to Bambi or other airstream it fits soon !

Hello kip ,

Not to much ,as it stands .most airstream stuff is long gone ,theres a
few PAR pumps and parts ,looked for any airstream locks for the door ,nothing
on those either .mainly the fridge at this point ,ive kept my eyes open even before the closing .along while back I got some vintage Bargmann plugs and
recepticles ,but thats pretty much it .
