1972 Sov / fridge doors don't close tight ..

sorry if this is posted already, the freezer & fridge doors don't seem to be able to close tightly, like the unit it's self is "bowing" slightly. Is this typical ? the freezer starts frosting up very quickly.
both latches are missing but even with those I question if doors could be made air tight..


any thoughts are much appreciated!
