1972 Dometic Refrigerator Value

Anyone know what the market value is on a good condition 72 model dometic out of a 73 Safari? Not sure what they are bringing on the market.

Thanks in advance!

Send a message via Skype™ to Zeppelinium
give Cherokee RV Salvage in Denver (there are others, too) and ask what you can buy a vintage 70s fridge for. They've got a ton of them, not all in working condition.

From a Safari, that should be fairly short, like 36 inches. Personally I'd put it around $250+. Depends on the condition of the interior plastic. The taller ones, maybe $400. I think they are worth more to someone who needs the exact width of the older models.

I have a late-model fridge in my '73, installed by the PO. or I should say, the PO bought it and paid someone else to install it. They told me it was quite expensive to have done, because stuff had to be modified so much. Whoever did it, did such a good job, I can't see what was "modified"...looks original to me. anyway, the point is that they don't make fridges that size anymore, so things have to be modified to fit...so there may be a demand for an "original" that can just slide in place.

I'd say at least 400 for a nice vintage one

Do you still have this Refrigerator? If so what model is it. I have a dead Dometic RM 45 a. I might be interested if you still have it. I am in TN moving to KY.
