1970 Dometic fridge.

I got a 1970 Overlander the other week, been piddling at it as time permits..

Having a time getting anythng out of the Dometic, under counter.

I am considering pulling the sucker and going electric. It's 38 years old and I can put a huge all fridge Sanyo under there for $200.00.

what say you opinionwise???

bookman, Is the fridge cooling at all? Is it heating on electric, propane, not at all? We need a bit more information to make a comment. The original Dometic is very particular in being level. Level from side to side and then from front to rear. It may take 6-8 housr for cooling to begin. Also remember, absorption refrigerators are virtually silent when operating.
