Where to buy a Service Manual for A/S 1979 Safari?

Does anyone know where to get/buy a service manual for the 1979 Safari (23 Ft.)? The Owner´s manual is not enough for me ...

The most reliable source of such maunuals is directly from Secretairal Services. The information below is quoted from the Vintage Airstream Club web site (public section). So far as I am aware the only two methods of contact are via regular mail or telephone - - I have never seen Secretarial Services referenced via e-mail or web address.

You can get photocopies of owners manual (1964+) and service manuals (1972-1986) from:

Prices are about $33 and $70 respectively. After 1986 the Owners Manuals included available service information

The other possibilitiy is to watch e-Bay. Generally, however, the price of an original manual will be more plus not all of the e-Bay vendors are willing to ship Internationally.

This time, i hope I can help you in your search; Me too I search the technical manual ( 240 pages ) for my airstream 71.
I've seen, when I was seaching my converter 220 50hz / 120 60hz, there was for sale, copies about models 1975 / 1976,
Even I 'm not an expert, i think the great lines are availables for airstreams with littlle differences in issue date or lenght. if you can find the exactly date for your A/S, certainly you can take the copy to begin works on it and understand the mechanism they use ;

I have a 1972 Airstream Service Manual which includes the following : 21, 23T & D, 25 T & D Land Yacht and 27 T & D, 29 T & D, 31 T & D International models. It is complete and in great shape. For some reason it was included in our motorhome when we purchased it.

It actually lists Airstream as a division of Beatrice Foods Co.

I haven't set a price for it but was thinking in the $20 range plus postage & insurance to mail. So I would take $25 - $30 total first come, first serve.
