Interior Renovation Question

So I am starting on my renovation of my 1978 Safari 23 and there is some floor rot by the front door and along the seam in the bathroom that runs right under the water pump. My question is if I need to remove the shower/sink/toilet to inspect the rest of the floor and /inspect fix some plumping issues how hard is that process? All furnishings are removed but walls, closets, etc are in place.

I see it's been a few months since you posted. How's the project coming along? I have a 1976 Safari purchased at the end of April 2011. I decided on the full monte as they say and have tried to document the process at www.surfershack.com. This forum has been a wealth of knowledge. I am moving along and I will post some pics later tonight. I would to start an all in one renovation thread to keep all my post in one place but I am unsure how to do it. The forums can be fairly overwhelming trying to keep up and jump from topic to topic.

Well here it is...2 months in and I am still finding stuff to repair. I have been plugging along trying to remove everything to get to bad floor in the rear and as you can see from the pics I found a little rust. New steel is on order and welder lined up to repair so as long as this odd midwestern warm spell keeps up I can keep moving forward.

I like the view from the ground up.
