Replacement furnace recommendations for '69 Safari?

I may need a new furnace and am hoping someone may be able to recommend a new replacement unit that will install with a minimum of cutting, venting, and general disfigurement to a '69 23 footer.

Can you identify what is in there now? Perhaps snap a few pictures?

It is the original furnace but, unfortunately, I don't have access to the trailer until later this month. I'm hoping the original can be repaired but if not, I'd like to know which unit would be the best new replacement.
