Zion attacked by caterpillars...

We just pulled into Zion for a reserved 2 night stay and the trees and campsites are crawling with caterpillars. Our campsite was covered, the table, electric post, it's disgusting. They managed to move us to an open space with no trees but they are still on the march to God knows where and walking across our outside mat constantly. The rangers are giving refunds to those who don't wish to stay. We will probably leave today.

If you are planning on coming here in the next two weeks, I would ask ahead. The next plague may be the moth invasion when they all havemetamorphesized.

Also the river has been flooding and the trail to the narrows is closed as well as the narrows.

Ugh! I'm glad we're not headed up that way!
