Your Music Choice Is?

I haven't seen this question here, but I do love to share great tunes. I have a percussionist in the family, and we both share a deep love of music. My daughter Mallory & I will both listen to almost any genre. Love the blues!

What's your favorite choices of music as you are towing/driving your AS?
I love to discover new artists & music. Good for your soul.

Let me start this thread off with something I stumbled across the other day that really caught my attention: On-Airstreaming Videos
The latest videos as of today are by Jamestown Revival. They play two songs that I would like to share with you guys/gals. California & Golden Age. They are an up & coming band from down Texas way. Awfully catchy tunes, and their harmony is incredible. Give the songs a listen, and even if you don't like the music, EVERYONE will enjoy the setting!

Can't wait to see some "playlists" from others.

The ultimate, while driving on a back road, is listening to Jethro Tull...at a loud volume!

Depending on the mood... anything from A Capella to Zydeco, with the exception of C rap. Crooners, Bluegrass, Rock, Hard Rock, Gregorian Chant, Opera and the list goes on. I have around 200GB of music to choose from.

I have XMRadio in my TV. I love the oldies, my wife likes the newer stuff, dance mix, etc.. We compromise, whoever is driving, picks the station. Did I mention she will not drive when towing..

I hate to advertise my age, but I listen to Doo Wop, and I am a big fan of the Beach Boys.

Love all kinds of music, but I do have one CD that I call my "desert island" CD. You know the one, the one that if you were stranded on a desert island with the one you love the most, and your Airstream, and a life's supply of great wine, but only one CD? In my estimation it would have to be a rather little-known album by Van Morrison, Poetic Champions Compose. It is great listening when you're pulling in traffic, soothing but not sleepy, and can be listened to again and again...I'm on my 5th CD of the same album. No I haven't worn them out, but have lent them to friends knowing they'd love it as much as I, regrettably, they do, and they just never come home. Hey, what are friends for.
BTW some of you are so much more technologically advanced, posting the videos is way cool... Thanks. Happy Holidays.

Thumbs up

I like to listen to something that will bring a smile while towing.

John Prine does it well.

My Dad was a musician (conductor) and I grew up with classical music. I have Sirius XM in my truck and will have it in my new Classic as well. I listen to Symphony Hall ... but I also like country, bluegrass, and almost any music if the singer sings on key and the musicians do the same. That is saying a lot, sad to say.

Man, we must really be square. When we are towing, we have the sound system off, watch the scenery and road, and (this is novel) we talk to each other.

The sounds of the highway are our music.

Ken

EDIT:

After reading through the thread again, I realize that there is at least one other couple that talks to each other. I feel slightly more normal.

The one thing I failed to mention is that my wife and I have somewhat different tastes in music. She likes music that to me sounds like banshees being tortured, and I like loud 1960's surf guitar instrumentals. Silence seems to be a good compromise.
