If you think it may freeze:

Use the furnace for heat. It will provide warm air to the fresh water and holding tanks.

If you are hooked up to water, turn off the water at the spigot, unhook and drain the hose.

That simple.

One time when in -10F. we had to use a hair dryer to blow hot hair up the tank dump pipe, because ice had formed against the inside of the valve, freezing it shut. It took about 5 mins.
