woo hoo! i took the plunge....

well, I bought my airstream, and she is a beauty...im going to tell all my friends they have to take their shoes off before entering...but now that ive taken the plunge is anybody out there going to tell me that ive just experienced one of the two happiest days in a airstreamers life?

the plunge

Sort of nautical, yes, but only in name. I've been there before, boats and Airstreams. There is a difference.

Unlike Airstreams, I guess you are referring to the two happiest days in a boat owner's life, The day you buy it and the day you sell it!!

thanks to all...

the check should clear by thurs when i pick it up...i know its tough for the seller cuz hes a die hard old time airstreamer....so hopefully he wont renig.... i really wouldnt blame him if he did......

Congrats you will love it. I sure love mine.
May I suggest that when you get it, pull it, park it, run everything in it, be hard on it using all the facilities. Tow it a couple thousand miles and see if something breaks. If it fails now your dealer will be more helpful with the warranty repairs than later on. ( Just from my experience ) If it don't break you got one heck of a great AS for the next forty years. I'm excited for you. Have fun fun fun.

Whew!!! I thought you meant "married" plunge. I'm glad to see that you meant buying the other type of gal. In that case, God bless your travels and may you have as great a time in your new money pit...err...I mean love machine as I am as a recent new owner too
