Very handy when you've reduced tire pressure when off road, then need to air up when back on pavement.

The Viair is highly rated, and affordable.
Thanks Drathaar - I'll check out this Viaair unit. I do have a small 12-volt unit that I carry in the trailer, but I have no idea if its any good or not as I've never used it....

We've used non-AS RV service centers with no issues (so far.) Our neighbour owns our local RV center so possibly they're motivated to do a good job; but so far, so good with the others. Bambi II is currently in storage in St. George, UT where we called on one of the local mobile services for winterizing. (It's awaiting our arrival next month for a trip to Death Valley-- we camped in southern Utah last October, and there's no point in hauling it to BC and back in the winter.)

m.hony, I'm sorry we can't take you up on your offer-- but you guessed it. We get our tax returns done by an accountant.

I got my coworker (CPA) to do my taxes anyway.
Her trailer has already been winterized- at an RV service shop-
Would I rather pay her and use my Saturday doing something else?
Or would I rather suffer and struggle through the it at the kitchen table?
Hmm...

Maybe some folks view winterizing the trailer the same way?

...but winterizing a trailer is easier than doing a tax return to me...

m.hony, we might just get into winterizing ourselves if we had your skills-- one of our neighbours does his own trailer so if Bambi II is up here next fall, we might ask him to give us a hand or let us watch while he does his. Unfortunately our friend's experience with wrecking his plumbing one winter sort of deters us.

I'm not trying to horn in on a perfectly good discussion amongst guys who winterize their own trailers-- just suggesting to anyone else lurking here that sometimes it's OK not to know how to do stuff, provided you're happy to support the local economy via the RV service center. Or tax accountant, for that matter.

If I were near, I would certainly help or walk you through the steps.

I do lots of DIY things, though. I have much more time than money. YouTube is a great source.
Seeing it happen does more for me than reading steps in a book...
