Update:

Airstream is loaded up, hitched and we leave (entire family) at 4am.

I am just downloading the route in to the Garmin, need to pack up my computer and have a whisky.

One the road we go.

We are. What a treat the weather has been.

We did the trip down in 2 days stopping in NC at a Walmart. I actually would have done it in 3 because I like to stop in state parks. But the gang wanted to go for it.

Funny thing is, we are camping in a neighborhood of multimillion dollar homes on the last vacant parcel of waterfront land on the intercostal waterway. I guess Celine Dion has a house here.

Thanks for all the advice on this Thread. All that is left to do is enjoy some time off then head home. The bonus is I am still married.
