Man I have about had it with the constant 20-30mph winds in the SW, Tucson region.

I've had to cancel camping plans as I did not want to be in desert back country with these winds.

I'm not sure if this is because it's my first season "outside" and didn't notice as much living in a brick house or it's unusually windy. I think the latter as I lived in El Paso in a house and KNEW it was windy!

Gosh it seems like a month since a nice warm calm Arizona spring day.....

Hope everyone is raveling safe with all the FB videos of semis doing cart wheels!

Yikes. I don't know what a sandstorm would do to the finish on an Airstream.....

I'm currently camping at a favorite windsurfing area, and actually very pleased with how solid the Airstream is on a windy day. With stabilizers out, I hear it all howling around me, but the trailer does not move at all.
I would think with low center of gravity and a full FW tank we would not have much to worry about? When would crosswinds become a factor? +50 gusts?
