I didn't think of the whole backup thing, yes, that would be an issue. Unless you hard connected the front axle of the trailer to the hitch, meaning there was no pivot on the ball, I don't know.
The whole concept would appear a bit comical on the highway, but when you think of it, I think the design is superior for off road or not so offroad as in boondocking down rough roads.
I think of this every year when the Miller welders go on the Black Friday Sale. I dream of building my own trailers, quitting my day job and just going full time with it. Don't worry, by January I will be done with it, out skiing and not making these silly posts.
