Who is ready for summer streamin?

I'm sooo pumped for this summer. The wife and I have a bunch of trips planned all over Colorado. We are going to Breckenridge, Estes Park, Fort Collins, Grand Lake, and Lake City. This will be our fist summer camping with a trailer so we are going to start off with easy trips to get used to everything and make some mistakes. Anyone else have any wild adventures planned or ready to get out there as Spring is here and the snow is melting (at least in Denver).

Been streaming since February, ourselves. New to the Airstream thing. I'm embracing it fully. We have already been to the Ozarks and several others here in Texas. We are taking the weekend off this weekend. We have been non-stop. I miss hooking her up already. Today is Friday,...Hook-up and pack day, LOL. We are gonna get back in track next weekend. Can't wait. Thinking about Padre state park this summer and maybe just my 16 yr old son and I driving to Key's to spend a week snorkeling and streaming.

Have fun and be safe.

I'm all pumped up to go too, especially after our 'Run To The Sun' last November.

But, as they say, "shot happens": we are moving next month, and I reckon that'll put an end to the long periods of free time I enjoy now, at least for this summer. But, I'll be able to get to the lake where our camp is and where the TT lives, since we are moving ~3 hours closer.

Plus we may pull the trigger and buy a pontoon boat this summer, since our daughter is expecting, and it won't be easy for her to get in and out of the bowrider we have now.

So, all that to say, unlikely we'll have any long trips this summer, but I'll see lots of Henri the trayla, and his new buddy Pon Toon.

Hard to complain though, Life, as they say Is Good.

Yes, I'm pumped. But we kinda put the cart before the horse. We bought the AS and have nothing to pull it with. So, we're looking for a TV. The AS is almost ready to hit the road, so hopefully we'll find a truck SOON!

Lucy is more than ready. She has spent the winter in Jacksonville doing full timer duty in SuEllyn's Dad's yard. Hopefully, we will be bringing her back to the Panhandle in about 10 days to get her ready for a 10 week trip out to California, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming for Moose hunting. We hope to make stops in Minnesota, Oklahoma, and Texas on the way back.

Welcome to the fold... We've been camping off and on for about three years -- year round... I think right now this is the longest we've been home (since February) since we purchased out airstream...

Got a quick repair job on our unit (thanks to a tire blowout--grrr!), and I think we'll be back ready to roll soon!

SO ready!

We're so pumped! We have reservations at many of our favourite campsites. Yippee!

We had a blizzard here yesterday....yes, snow and high high winds (snapped one of my friends' trees in half!) The trailer is now crusted with snow and ice, but luckily, no flying debris seemed to have hit it. On Tuesday, sleet is coming. The joy of spring on the prairies.

Here's a picture from our local paper.

We aren't waiting until summer. Had a quick trip to Ft Stevens on the OR coast early March. End of this month we plan on staying in the Owyhee river area for several days. Intend on boondocking for the first few days, and if we need some long showers, water etc. there are a couple of campgrounds there also. our first boondocking trip since we got the A/S. It has been years since we camped this way. But looking forward to the experience.

If all goes as planned, we'll be picking up our FC23FB next week. Around the first part of June the plan is to head north out of Fl into Al and north along the Appalachian mountains to central and northern NY, then ferry boat (Lake Champlain) to VT and go across northern NH and into Maine. From there it is south along the coast to Boston and ferry boat to Provincetown and down the coastal route to NYC. I am thinking that the best way to deal with NYC is to dock at a nearby campground and utilize tour bus (Grey Line, etc) services to get us around sightseeing. The Missus doesn't think that this swamp cracker should be on his own driving around the big city :-) The home stretch is to follow the coast down to Fl and home. None of this is cast in bronze, and any suggestions are welcomed. Especially new to us will be the ferry boating. Any and all comments and suggestions are welcome. Our tractor is a black Ford F-150, so if'n ya'll see us wandering around give a honk n' wave.

With the weather in Texas pretty decent as a whole, we can enjoy camping pretty much year 'round. My wife and I look forward to our monthly rallies and dinner get togethers. Gives us a nice break as we are still working.

Hooray for summer! We've already gone on 5 trips this year, including our first 2 rallies! So far we have 6 more planned through September around Oregon & Washington, and hope to do some boondocking on Mt. Hood a couple of times as well. If we can, we'd love to go camping this winter, too - when the weather cooperates!

Ready? Yes!

Prepared? Well, it's all relative isn't it?

We've been to Yosemite three times since April 23rd and attended the NorCal rally at Casini Ranch earlier that month.

We're getting ready to head to the Nevada desert for Fourth of Juplaya next week.

We're hoping to visit Big Sur after that and then it's time for:

Burning Man!

So yes, we're ready. Ready AND eager!

Happy Summer Streamin' everyone!

Our trips haven't been big ones, but we've had lots of fun. Mystic Springs (FL) in May for the weekend. We're now at Island Retreat Campground in Gulf Shores (AL) for 2 weeks...swimming, eating seafood, outlet mall shopping, doing a little work on the AS, grilling on the new Weber Baby Q (Father's Day present), spending time with family, meeting new people. The oil is on the beach, but there a plenty of other things to do! The weather has been great! Ya'll come on down.
