Next hint time!

Ok, next hint on the two pueblos:

"The main parts of the present buildings in the one picture are thought to have been constructed between 1000 and 1450 A.D. The pueblo in the other picture is believed to have been established in the 12th century or even earlier."

Ok, no guesses, so I'll tell:

The first image (filename "secret.jpg") is Taos Pueblo down the road from us.

The second image (filename "secret2.jpg") is Acoma.

By the way, folks used to be able to overnight at the Acoma casino right off the interstate, and, for all I know, they may still be able to do so. However, the Acoma corporation has now built a true-blue RV park, too. It's apparently near the casino. (Maybe Maria and I will check it out as we head towards or back from our trip to Zion next week, weather permitting!)

I do know that he was in Vegas during Thanksgiving. Travel from central CA to Vegas means taking Hwy 15 - which goes through Nev., Utah, Id., WY., IIRC.

Let's try something a little more obscure...

Anyone know what this is? It's the best shot I could get at the time.

Rog, I started thinking 'House on a Rock' but that would be wrong, wouldn't it?

Wasn't far off though.

Yes, Bob, "House on the Rock" would be wrong, but you wouldn't be too far off geographically speaking.

Yes, I've stayed several times in a very nice state park just south of there. And there's a great arts community about half an hour south.
