James Island County Park at Charleston - one of our favourites, Been here three or four times, this time for two weeks, and heading for home next Thursday!
There seem to have never been less than about a half dozen or so Airstreams here, and when we first arrived, maybe three times that, due I believe to a local WBCCI chapter rally.

The in-laws backyard in Reno, NV with our large lab and insomniac cat. We became homeless last week after selling our home and waiting for escrow to close on our new home in a few weeks. Thankful we have our AS.

Since a lot of the campgrounds around Table Rock Lake are closed due to flooding we headed to Stockton State Park on Lake Stockton, northwest of Springfield, MO. We reserved a site on the East loop.
The water levels were up and the main road to the marina was flooded but we were able to walk to the marina via a 1/2 mile detour.
The campsites are electric only. The weather was only in the 70s so A/C wasn't needed. The only negative thing was some of the other campers were burning campfires: more smoke than fire.

Not connected to Airstreaming, but we finally replaced our very old bed in our bedroom. (ashamed to tell you how old it was.  )
Saturday they delivered our new Sleep Number bed, top of the line. So Sunday morning we woke up in our new bed, well rested, well deserved, and our 29th anniversary gift to each other to boot.
Our son asked if we could afford it. I told him it didn't cost us a dime, I took it out of his inheritance.

Utah Man,
I have never seen that many trailers in that campground...Is the owner Bob Anderson still there? He and his wife are sweet people.
I paid him one day to guide me through the canyon. Best money I ever spent. He has lived in that canyon for over seventy years and knows the rock art very well....

Similarly, our group (Utah's Wasatch Airstream Club) paid for the guided tour and I agree the owner (Ben Mead) was great. It would be easy to miss some of the best panels without the guidance plus his interesting stories and history. Our group also enjoyed a great Dutch oven dinner complete with Cowboy Poetry... nice family and friendly hosts. (12 Airsteamers attended the rally, so there were even more there than are shown in the photo.)
