To an empty driveway (glee and joy), as Eirestream is off get bearings packed, seals checked and a table leg second repair(non named AS dealer thought installing new table leg an inch higher would be ok, I don't think so, and took no responsibility, even when I made appointment, I gave in proper part number). So great joy we were able to shovel out to get trailer out.

Doheny Beach, on the sand. Rode the bikes into Capistrano yesterday for the Swallow's Day Parade, did some geocaching along the way, then back for some wine tasting at the harbor!

Jarupa County Park in Riverside, Ca.

We wanted a short trip to shake out the TV and get away. We're new to SoCal and wanted to see what was around this area. The park is a "kid's paradise" and there are a million kids, which is nice to see although 3 days will be enough! Historic Riverside is actually nice. We saw the famous Mission Inn, and I went to the photography museum at UC Riverside. We're going up to the Cajon Pass today.

Richard Bong State Park in Kansasville, WI. Quite chilly but at least we missed the snow in Chicago

Newport News (Virginia) Park. A great campground, one of my favorites, except that you get all three noise disturbances: Highway noise from I-64, train noise (which I actually kind of enjoy), and airplane noise from planes taking off from the airport.

We had a nice weekend, seeing the Army Transportation Museum, the Mariner's Museum, and Yorktown Battlefield. Last fall we were there to visit Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. Next visit may include the Nauticus/USS Wisconsin, Navy Yard tour, the War Museum... there's a LOT to see in that area. The only downside is getting there from home: I-95 and I-64 are in poor condition for miles on end, and US 301 has so many traffic lights that it's hard to get a good roll going.

Boondocked at our Visitors center that had an electric hook up, it was our first night sleeping in it since bringing it home a week ago. Yikes, much to learn, still feel a bit overwhelmed.

Skalkaho Road, south of Hamilton, MT ... Black Bear campground had a 2-3 foot snow berm which we thought was too much of a challenge...so, we parked on ice instead!

At the US Army Corps of Engineers Petersburg Campground near Augusta Georgia. What a great camp. Very large sites, right on the water, with electric and water service. Ping pong, badmitten, horseshoes are just some of the activities. Not counting fishing, boating, swimming. It is also right on the Bartram Trail, a 115 mile hiking trail which goes through South Carolina, Georgia and North Carolina. I feel fortunate to be here.

Corps of Engineers parks and campgrounds are awesome.
North Abutment is a Corps campground on Grenada Lake.
We are going to Duane Hayes Friday- another Corps campground on the Tennessee-Tombigbee waterway in Columbus, MS for the Thunderbirds air show at Columbus Air Force Base.
Life is good.
